Dr. Kishore Debnath is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology (at Meghalaya) since July 16, 2015. Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (at Agartala) in 2008, he opted to choose the path of scholarly excellence and its related endeavors for the Master of Technology in mechanical engineering with specialization in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology (at Rourkela) in 2011. Thereafter, he enrolled for the doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee) and successfully finished all of the requirements of Ph.D. in 2015. He opted to execute and excel in research in the ever challenging and intrinsically encompassing field of “Primary and Secondary Processing of Composite Materials.” His commendable efforts and dependable diligence shadowed with a rich blend of dynamism in the domain spanning research have also enabled him to publish a total of 60 technical manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and proceedings or bound volumes culminating from conferences. His systematic and methodical execution of the intrinsic intricacies pertinent to his research has enabled him to compile 15 technical manuscripts that have been included as chapters in books published and put forth by international publishers. He has also edited one book titled, “Primary and Secondary Manufacturing of Polymer Matrix Composites” being published by CRC Press (Taylor and Francis Group). He is also an active reviewer of different peer reviewed journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, Wiley etc.
